The symposium and exhibition “CCS Panacea? Unleashing the Debate” took place in the impressive setting of the IIASA – International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis on December 12th, 2024.

At the hybrid symposium, which is part of The Carbon Busters project, speakers from various fields raised topics on climate activism, the cement industry, cultural theory, sustainable technologies, political economy, and the arts, and presented their perspectives, needs, visions, and concerns regarding CCS (Carbon Capture and Storage). How can we consolidate these viewpoints into a significant and constructive move towards a sustainable future? The recorded talks are provided below.
