#CCS Panacea? – Impressions

The symposium and exhibition “CCS Panacea? Unleashing the Debate” took place in the beautiful setting of the IIASA – International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis on December 12th, 2024.

Multidisciplinary speakers from climate activism, the cement industry, cultural theory, sustainable technologies, political economy and the arts shared their viewpoints, needs, visions and concerns on CCS (Carbon Capture and Storage). How can we integrate all perspectives into a meaning- and impactful step forward towards a livable future?

The symposium concluded with the opening of the exhibition “CCS Panacea?,” which visualised the complexities of the topic through the displayed interactions in public spaces and installations.
